A commentary by the prolific Hanafi scholar and linguist Mustafa ibn Ibrahim Ghalibuli (d. 1762) on the "Awamil al-Jadid" (The New Rules of Arabic Grammar) by the important Hanafi scholar and moralist Mehmet Efendi Birgivi (1522-73 CE).
Ghalibuli authored several commentaries and original works that saw many publications from the early 19th century until today. The "Tuhfat al-ikhwan 'ala al-'Awamil al-jadid" was first published in Istanbul in 1805.
