One of the numerous pamphlets produced by the fiery-tempered Hesshusen, a strict and disputatious Lutheran who never managed to settle anywhere, was evicted from Mageburg in 1562 for the present work and would be dismissed from many more positions due to his "total lack of deference" (cf. ADB).
